JOB OVERVIEW:

The Media Trading team’s central mission is to maintain and unlock additional revenue while increasing operational efficiency through scalable processes. As a Media Trader, you will be hyper-focused on our core objectives: protecting revenue by ensuring timely campaign launches and adherence to our defined SLAs and benchmarks, while driving performance through data-informed optimization.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the United States with focus on Midwest timezones hours.

 



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Drive operational excellence through ownership of the entire campaign lifecycle, from campaign setup to final delivery

  • Independently manage a portfolio of programmatic campaigns across multiple DSPs, proactively troubleshooting delivery, pacing, and discrepancy issues

  • Provide guidance and insights on campaign best practices and optimization opportunities, applying data-driven strategies to improve KPI performance

  • Identify new opportunities to improve setup and performance while working closely with Customer Success to ensure client satisfaction

  • Analyze historical and live campaign datasets to drive successful delivery, as well as inform the future of our product offerings

  • Partner with Account Management on client-facing reporting, performance narratives, and optimization recommendations

  • Collaborate across departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to identify and develop new opportunities within the digital marketing space

  • Mentor junior traders and contribute to process documentation and team best practices
    Own and exceed annual revenue targets through new business development and account expansion 

     

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
  • 3+ years of ad operations / campaign management experience required

  • Hands-on experience with major SSPs and DSPs — including but not limited to Yahoo, DV360, The Trade Desk, and StackAdapt

  • Working knowledge of deal ID management (PMP), brand safety and verification tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify), and third-party ad serving (CM360/Flashtalking/etc.)

  • Experience with programmatic mobile rich media highly preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel for campaign analysis (pivot tables, large dataset manipulation)

  • Ability to build excellent rapport, train, mentor, and manage expectations with internal stakeholders

  • Service-minded, flexible, fast learner with a curious mindset and a can-do mentality

  • Strong verbal and written communication and persuasive skills
